Espro: Innovative French Press Coffee Makers…

It all began in 2002, when Canadian engineers Chris R. McLean and Bruce Constantine wanted to brew the perfect coffee – without overpriced gadgets and professional coffee machines. With the ambition to offer a new kind of full immersion experience characterized by perfect extraction, filtration, and temperature control, they created the first Espro press in 2004, which revolutionized coffee preparation with its unique patented microfilter. Today, Espro products delight professional baristas and coffee connoisseurs everywhere with their exceptionally pure and aromatic coffee.

Full-immersion preparation – for the perfect taste

Full-bodied, strong, and sensual: With the full-immersion method, the coffee fully develops in the water and is then filtered through extraction. While a regular French press can leave residue in the coffee, causing the taste to become bitter after some time in the vessel, Espro coffee presses revolutionize full-immersion coffee production. So that you too can experience the wonderful qualities of Espro machines, all you need, apart from the coffee press, is a kettle and high-quality coffee beans. The flavor develops best if you grind the beans with a coffee grinder shortly before brewing. This way, they retain their full aroma. A coarse grind is optimal for Espro coffee makers. Depending on how strong you like your coffee, now fill the container with 4 to 6 tablespoons of coffee grounds (19-29 g) and pour hot water (90-95 °C) over it. Stir the mixture once, then close the lid with the double micro filter, and wait about 3 to 4 minutes. Then gently and slowly press the filters down and enjoy a truly incomparable cup of coffee!
