Why Morning?

Development of the Morning machine began in late 2018. Coffee roasters Leon Foo and Andre Chanco joined forces and founded the company Morning. They wanted to leverage their years of experience to enable passionate coffee drinkers to get the best from their coffee at home. After producing the first prototype in early 2020 and launching a crowdfunding project on Kickstarter, production of the Morning machines began in late 2020.

With the goal of making specialty coffee more accessible to even more people, Morning's journey began in 2018. Leon Foo and Andre Chanco noticed that more and more roasters were offering their coffee in capsules to make it accessible to a wider audience. But even though the coffee in capsules was getting better and better, conventional capsule machines didn't offer many adjustment options to allow the full flavor of specialty coffee to develop. Thus, the idea for the Morning capsule machine was born.
The two founders of Morning developed the Morning machine, drawing on their extensive knowledge and years of experience in the coffee industry. When developing the capsule machine, Morning also kept ecological responsibility and sustainability in mind. Particular attention is paid to this aspect when selecting partners whose recipes are featured in the app. Therefore, Morning only offers partner roasters whose coffee capsules are either recyclable or compostable. You can find the partners' recipes to try out in the Morning app.
The Morning Machine is compatible with Nespresso®* capsules and Nespresso®* compatible capsules from other manufacturers. In addition to the standard aluminum coffee capsules, many manufacturers now offer recyclable or compostable coffee capsules.

Which coffee capsule machine can I control via app?

The Morning capsule machine can be controlled via the app of the same name. This allows you to adjust the brewing temperature in 1°C increments and the coffee output to the exact gram, and then brew the coffee. If you are satisfied with your chosen settings, you can save the recipe in the app so you can easily select it next time. In addition to creating your own recipes, you can also choose your favorite from the 10 pre-stored recipes via the app or directly on the machine. The Morning app also offers various recipes from roasters around the world for you to try out.

What are the advantages of the Drink Morning capsule machine?

There are now a wide variety of capsule machines on the market. They are the ideal solution if you want a quick coffee or espresso in the morning or between meals. The taste is significantly different from that of a coffee or espresso prepared by a barista. This is precisely where Morning comes in with its capsule machine.
