Questions & Answers

How do you prepare filter coffee?

There are various ways to prepare filter coffee. The most popular are coffee makers, hand filters, and the French press. When using a filter coffee maker, we recommend following the manufacturer's instructions. To prepare it manually, you first add the coffee grounds to the French press or hand filter and pour almost boiling water over it. While you need a filter for a hand filter, one is already built into the French press. With a hand filter, the coffee runs directly into your cup or pot, ready to be enjoyed. With the French press, you have to press down the filter after about 3 to 6 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer the coffee flavor.

Are there different types of filter coffee?

Yes, filter coffee comes in a variety of flavors and intensities! Depending on your preference, you'll find strong, mild, sweet, bitter, or fruity varieties. Try them all and find your favorite!
