While the Paragon Brewing Tool is compatible with a wide variety of vessels and pour-over brewers, the Nucleus Espresso Tool, with its smaller cooling stone and lower height, is specifically optimized for espresso brewing workflows.

The manufacturer recommends storing the cooling stone in the freezer for one hour at -10 to -20°C. To check if the cooling stone is completely frozen, shake it. If the gel inside the cooling stone is still moving, it is not completely frozen. If the gel no longer moves, the cooling stone is completely frozen and ready to use. It is recommended to use a completely frozen cooling stone for each extraction.
